释义	法律分析：夹棍是古代的一种刑罚。夹棍刑，夹棍，杨木制成，长三尺余，去地五寸多，贯以铁条，每根中各绑拶三副。凡夹人，则直竖其棍，一人扶之，安足其上，急束绳索，仍用棍一具，交足之左，使受刑者不能移动。又用一根长六七尺、围四寸以上的大杠，从右边猛力敲足胫，使足流血洒地。而我国现行刑法并未规定夹棍刑。法律依据：《中华人民共和国刑法》第三十三条主刑的种类如下：（一）管制；（二）拘役；（三）有期徒刑；（四）无期徒刑；（五）死刑。
