释义	按揭贷款是指以按揭方式进行的一种贷款业务。如:住房按揭贷款就是购房者以所购住房做抵押并由其所购买住房的房地产企业提供阶段性担保的个人住房贷款业务。所谓按揭是指按揭人将房产产权转让按揭，受益人作为还贷保证人在按揭人还清贷款后，受益人立即将所涉及的房屋产权转让按揭人，过程中按揭人享有使用权。按揭贷款是购房人在支付首期规定的房价款后，由贷款银行代其支付其余的购房款，将所购房屋抵押给贷款银行作为偿还贷款履行担保的行为。借款人履行债务，还清本息后，再重新收回物业所有权。
