释义	法律分析: 公职人员不可以担任营利性协会会长，在非盈利公益协会可以。行业协会需要会长、副会长必须有从事本行业3年以上经历，熟悉行业情况，在行业内有良好声誊。会长是行业协会的法定代表人，不得兼任其他社会团体的法定代表人；会长、秘书长不得由同一会员单位的人员担任，不得是近亲属或者具有其他利害关系。《中华人民共和国公务员法》第五十九条公务员应当遵纪守法，不得有下列行为：（十六）违反有关规定从事或者参与营利性活动，在企业或者其他营利性组织中兼任职务。
