释义	驱逐出境是指对犯罪的外国人强迫离开中国国（边）境的一种特殊的刑罚方法。如某外国人在我国犯盗窃罪，可以单独判处驱逐出境，也可单独判处有期徒刑。【法律依据】《中华人民共和国刑法》第三十四条附加刑的种类如下： (一)罚金； (二)剥夺政治权利； (三)没收财产。附加刑也可以独立适用。第三十五条对于犯罪的外国人，可以独立适用或者附加适用驱逐出境。第十四条明知自己的行为会发生危害社会的结果，并且希望或者放任这种结果发生，因而构成犯罪的，是故意犯罪。故意犯罪，应当负刑事责任。
