法律分析：
将妻子赶出家门的行为，法律并没有做出相关的约束和规定，但妻子可以通过报警来维护自己的合法权益。因为夫妻双方是具有相互扶养的义务的，如果妻子是患病或者没有劳动能力且没有独立经济来源的，故意将妻子赶出家门，达到抛弃目的，情节恶劣的可以构成遗弃罪。如果将妻子赶出家门涉及暴力行为的，构成家庭暴力。
法律依据：
《中华人民共和国刑法》第二百六十一条对于年老、年幼、患病或者其他没有独立生活能力的人，负有扶养义务而拒绝扶养，情节恶劣的，处五年以下有期徒刑、拘役或者管制。
