释义	法律分析：兵役登记，是指按照法律规定有服役义务的男性公民，按照法律规定进行登记报名。兵役登记并不是必须去当兵，而是要经过应征公民体检合格、应征公民政治审核合格、部队带兵干部对应征公民面试合格，由当地征兵办和部队去的带兵干部择优定兵，并发出《入伍通知书》的才一定要去当兵的。法律依据：《中华人民共和国兵役法》第五条兵役分为现役和预备役。在中国人民解放军服现役的称现役军人；经过登记，预编到现役部队、编入预备役部队、编入民兵组织服预备役的或者以其他形式服预备役的，称预备役人员。
