释义	法律分析：嫖娼是违法行为，要对违法行为进行处罚需要有违法事实与证据。一般是要抓现行，但也不排事后犯（事后追究）的。不过事后追究警方取证是存在困难的，即使被卖淫女供出来了，违法行为人要咬定不承认，派出所就会存在证据不力的困难，无法处罚的。法律依据：《治安管理处罚法》第六十六条卖淫、嫖娼的，处十日以上十五日以下拘留，可以并处五千元以下罚款;情节较轻的，处五日以下拘留或者五百元以下罚款。在公共场所拉客招嫖的，处五日以下拘留或者五百元以下罚款。
