释义	哺乳期遗弃妻子女儿不一定犯罪。行为人构成遗弃罪，要达到情节恶劣。哺乳期遗弃妻子女儿的行为不会给他们生命安全造成危害，因此是不会构成犯罪的。行为人犯遗弃罪，情节恶劣的，处五年以下有期徒刑、拘役或者管制。【法律依据】《中华人民共和国刑法》第二百六十一条对于年老、年幼、患病或者其他没有独立生活能力的人，负有扶养义务而拒绝扶养，情节恶劣的，处五年以下有期徒刑、拘役或者管制。第十九条第一款、第三款刑事案件的侦查由公安机关进行，法律另有规定的除外。自诉案件，由人民法院直接受理。
