姨不是直系亲属。
中国传统的亲属划分，自己的亲属关系有两个，一个是父系关系，一个是母系关系。
父系关系为直系亲属，自己的爷爷、奶奶，自己的父亲、母亲自己的儿子，女儿的。还有自己的姻亲，也就是妻子的爷爷、奶奶，父亲、母亲，自己的亲属，姨是妈妈的姐姐和妹妹，所以，姨不是直系亲属。
直系血亲是指彼此之间有直接血缘联系的亲属，包括己身所从出和从己身所出的两部分血亲。己身所从出的血亲，即是生育己身的隔代血亲，如父母、祖父母等；从己身所出的血亲，即是己身生育的后代，如子女、孙子女等。
值得注意的是，直系血亲除自然直系血亲外，还包括法律拟制的直系血亲，如养父母与养子女、养祖父母与养孙子女，有抚养关系的继父母与继子女等都是直系血亲。

亲属包括配偶、血亲和姻亲。配偶、父母、子女、兄弟姐妹、祖父母、外祖父母、孙子女、外孙子女为近亲属。配偶、父母、子女和其他共同生活的近亲属为家庭成员。
