公寓使用液化气违法吗

法律没有明文规定公寓不允许使用液化气，所以不违法。但是是否符合公寓的管理规定就得看合同以及管理规定了。公寓楼之所以不允许使用液化气，是因为比如酒店式公寓没有明厨房，也可能没有烟道，使用液化气一旦泄漏或排风不畅，易引发危险。
法律依据：《城市市容和环境卫生管理条例》 第三十条 城市人民政府应当有计划地发展城市煤气、天然气、液化气，改变燃料结构；鼓励和支持有关部门组织净菜进城和回收利用废旧物资，减少城市垃圾。
