驾照十年到期了，可以向发证地车管所提出申请换领长期有效证件。注意申请换领驾驶证前需要将驾驶证相关的违章和事故处理完毕，驾驶证保持在正常状态。
法律依据
《机动车驾驶证申领和使用规定》第五十六条，机动车驾驶人在机动车驾驶证的六年有效期内，每个记分周期均未记满12分的，换发十年有效期的机动车驾驶证；在机动车驾驶证的十年有效期内，每个记分周期均未记满12分的，换发长期有效的机动车驾驶证。
