担任证人需要满足的条件有哪些

证人应当具备以下条件：
(1)证人是在诉讼活动开始前便了解案件情况的人;
(2)证人必须是能够辨别是非，能够正确表达的人;
(3)证人是自然人。证人一般应当出庭作证，在法庭上接受公诉人、被害人和被告人、辩护人双方的询问、质证。
【法律依据】:
《中华人民共和国民事诉讼法》 第七十二条 凡是知道案件情况的单位和个人，都有义务出庭作证。有关单位的负责人应当支持证人作证。
