释义	在家自己观看一般不违法。如果只是您一个人在家浏览，没有传播，原则上是不违法的。但如果不止您一人，传播淫秽影片，就是违法行为了。会被处十日以上十五日以下拘留，可以并处三千元以下罚款；情节较轻的，处五日以下拘留或者五百元以下罚款。构成犯罪的，应当承担刑事责任。法律依据：《中华人民共和国刑法》第三条法律明文规定为犯罪行为的，依照法律定罪处刑；法律没有明文规定为犯罪行为的，不得定罪处刑。
