母亲对孩子不管不问，算遗弃罪吗
释义
法律分析：在我国，孩子没有成年，不具备独立生活的能力之前，父母应该尽到抚养义务。不仅是对于孩子，对于没有自理能力的老人，子女也应该负起抚养责任。如果父母拒绝抚养且遗弃的行为恶劣，对孩子造成了伤害性后果，可能构成遗弃罪。而是否构成遗弃罪还得依据孩子是否具备独立生活能力、遗弃行为是否对孩子造成恶劣影响而决定。
法律依据：《中华人民共和国刑法》 第二百六十一条 对于年老、年幼、患病或者其他没有独立生活能力的人，负有扶养义务而拒绝扶养，情节恶劣的，处五年以下有期徒刑、拘役或者管制。
