释义	一般情况，商家提供过期商品的行为属于欺诈行为，除了要赔偿消费者损失外，还可以要求生产者或者销售者支付商品价格的3倍补偿，赔偿金额不足500元的为500元。如果购买的是食品的话，除了可以要求生产者或者销售者赔偿损失外，还可以向生产者或者销售者要求支付价款10倍的赔偿金。《中华人民共和国食品安全法》第一百四十八条  超市卖过期食品赔偿如下：（1）赔偿损失。（2）向消费者支付价款十倍或者损失三倍的赔偿金；增加赔偿的金额不足一千元的，为一千元。
