怎么查人在没在拘留所？

法律分析：
不能查。因为涉及到个人隐私和公安工作的保密规定，查不到。如果当事人真的想了解，应该向人犯的家属进行咨询。
因为，在公安机关或者检察机关对当事人采取强制措施的，必须依法通知家属。
法律依据：
《中华人民共和国刑事诉讼法》 第八十三条 公安机关在异地执行拘留、逮捕的时候，应当通知被拘留、逮捕人所在地的公安机关，被拘留、逮捕人所在地的公安机关应当予以配合。
