释义	法律分析：合约租期未到不租属于违约，应按租房合同的约定支付违约金，合同没确定违约责任就协商解决。在可能的情况下，应提前通知房东。如果租赁双方订立合同时明确约定提前退租房租不退，可以按照合同约定的办理。但是如果合同中没有明确规定，在提前退租时房东不得无故扣押房租，应将剩余房租如数无息退还给租客。法律依据：《中华人民共和国民法典》第四百五十八条基于合同关系等产生的占有，有关不动产或者动产的使用、收益、违约责任等，按照合同约定；合同没有约定或者约定不明确的，依照有关法律规定。
