释义	公务员以前的养老保险是由国家财政承担，但是现在的公务员养老保险费是需要缴纳的。自从国务院印发《关于机关事业单位工作人员养老保险制度改革的决定》，决定从2014年10月1日起对机关事业单位工作人员养老保险制度进行改革，基本养老保险费由单位和个人共同负担。法律依据《中华人民共和国公务员法》第七十九条，公务员工资、福利、保险、退休金以及录用、培训、奖励、辞退等所需经费，应当列入财政预算，予以保障。
