对于自动退学的话，以及主动退学的区别。
前者就是学生没有联络学校，不去上学了，学校就会根据相关的规则制度，进行自动退学。
后者就是，学生本人，向学校提出，主动退学的。
法律依据:
《普通高等学校学生管理规定》第二十七条规定本人申请退学的，应予退学。
