释义	根据《企业劳动争议处理条例解释》第19条的规定，仲裁庭在审理劳动争议过程中，如遇有特殊情况（如向上级单位请示等待答复、仲裁委员会之间委托调查、进行鉴定、当事人患病或因故不在本地而不能参加仲裁活动等不可抗力事由），致使劳动争议无法继续审理的，可以向仲裁委员会提出中止审理的理由和时间，经仲裁委员会批准后中止审理。规定的办案时间应扣除中止时间后合并计算。
