释义	双规有时间限制，最长不超过一年。双规是纪检监察机关采取的一项措施，只适用于违纪且需要立案查处的党员干部，也就是说，双规只能在纪检监察机关办案期限内实施。法律依据：《中华人民共和国行政监察法》第三十三条监察机关立案调查的案件，应当自立案之日起六个月内结案特殊原因需要延长办案期限的，可以适当延长，但是最长不得超过一年，并应当报上一级监察机关备案。监察机关的办案期限一般是六个月，最长不得超过一年，因此，实施双规的时间，一般也应是六个月，最长不得超过一年。
