释义	告诉才处理，是指刑法规定的某些犯罪案件，必须由被害人或其法定代理人提出告诉的，人民法院才予以审理。即告诉乃论，不告不理。“告诉”，是指法定的告诉人直接向人民法院报告案情，并请求对侵害行为人追究刑事责任的行为。法律依据：《中华人民共和国刑法》第九十八条本法所称告诉才处理，是指被害人告诉才处理。如果被害人因受强制、威吓无法告诉的，人民检察院和被害人的近亲属也可以告诉。
