释义	房屋定金和订金不一样。定金是指当事人双方为了保证债务的履行，约定由当事人方先行支付给对方一定数额的货币作为担保。而订金不具有定金的性质，交付订金的一方主张定金权利的，人民法院不予支持。【本文关联的相关法律依据】《中华人民共和国民法典》第五百八十七条债务人履行债务的，定金应当抵作价款或者收回。给付定金的一方不履行债务或者履行债务不符合约定，致使不能实现合同目的的，无权请求返还定金；收受定金的一方不履行债务或者履行债务不符合约定，致使不能实现合同目的的，应当双倍返还定金。
