释义	法律分析：如果儿子属于完全民事行为能力人，那么其债务一般情况下与父母无关，所以父母是没有义务要为其偿还的。不过要是父母是儿子债务的担保人或者共同债务人的话，就父母偿还了。而要是儿子是非完全民事行为能力人的，则此时可以要求父母偿还债务。法律依据：《中华人民共和国民法典》第一千一百六十一条继承人以所得遗产实际价值为限清偿被继承人依法应当缴纳的税款和债务。超过遗产实际价值部分，继承人自愿偿还的不在此限。继承人放弃继承的，对被继承人依法应当缴纳的税款和债务可以不负清偿责任。
