释义	不是的。如果是当事人父亲的个人债务，那么子女不承担偿还的义务；但是如果当事人父亲有财产，就由当事人父亲的财产来偿还；如果财产已经被继承人继承，那么继承人就应该偿还这笔债务。《中华人民共和国民法典》第一千一百六十一条继承人以所得遗产实际价值为限清偿被继承人依法应当缴纳的税款和债务。超过遗产实际价值部分，继承人自愿偿还的不在此限。继承人放弃继承的，对被继承人依法应当缴纳的税款和债务可以不负清偿责任。该内容由王婧律师和点行律询共创回答
