工作交接并不代表是可以办理离职手续的，但是员工在申请辞职之后单位需要在三十天内安排员工离职，如果员工没有申请辞职，单位没有书面辞退员工之前，员工和单位的劳动关系依然存在。法条根据：《中华人民共和国劳动合同法》 第三十七条 劳动者提前三十日以书面形式通知用人单位，可以解除劳动合同。劳动者在试用期内提前三日通知用人单位，可以解除劳动合同。
