释义	海上保险合同的保险期间一般怎么确定海上保险合同的有效期间一般以航次或月、年为期间。以航次为期间的称为航次保险，以月、年为期间的称为定期保险。绝大多数的货物运输投保航次保险，少数长期稳定的货物运输才可能投保定期保险。多数班轮、船东和定期租船人投保船舶定期保险，只有航次租船的租船人才会投保船舶航次保险。保险期间一旦确定，保险人只负责赔偿在保险期间内发生的保险事故造成保险标的的损害从而被保险人造成的损失。保险事故发生的时间不在保险期间内，则保险人不承担保险责任。
