释义	入职让交保证金的不合法。当员工入职时，用人单位不能以任何形式收取和扣押劳动者的财物，或采取其他方法变相收取所谓的报名费、培训费和服装费等。用人单位招用劳动者不得要求劳动者提供担保或者以其他名义向劳动者收取财物。如发生上述行为，单位将被处以行政处罚并须承担相应的赔偿责任。法律依据：《和人民共和国劳动合同法》第九条，用人单位招用劳动者，不得扣押劳动者的居民身份证和其他证件，不得要求劳动者提供担保或者以其他名义向劳动者收取财物。
