释义	变造货币罪指的是对真币采用挖补、剪贴、揭层、拼凑、涂改等方法进行加工处理，改变货币的真实形状、图案、面值或张数，增大票面面额或增加票张数量，数额较大的行为。如果行为人构成该罪的，一般会被判处三年以下有期徒刑或者拘役，并处或者单处一万元以上十万元以下罚金。《刑法》第一百七十三条变造货币，数额较大的，处三年以下有期徒刑或者拘役，并处或者单处一万元以上十万元以下罚金；数额巨大的，处三年以上十年以下有期徒刑，并处二万元以上二十万元以下罚金。
