释义	法律分析：在中国不一定要服兵役。目前名义上属于义务兵制（征兵制），但实际执行为志愿兵制（募兵制），为相结合实行。义务服役，属于强制性的，国家保留强制征兵权利。但中国人口多，每年招收少，想当兵的合格兵源也多，执行时属于志愿服役，是自愿报名的。不直接取消义务兵制，是为了让国民都知道：每个公民都有服兵役的责任。法律依据：《中华人民共和国兵役法》第三条中华人民共和国实行以志愿兵役为主体的志愿兵役与义务兵役相结合的兵役制度。
