公开收购的含义是什么

法律分析：公开收购是指上市公司收购人以公开方式向被收购公司全体股东发出要约，受要约股东承诺后转让股份，达到收购目的的。公开收购可分为敌意收购和善意收购。其中，敌意收购风险较大，是指收购人的收购受到目标公司经营者的反对后，收购人仍需收购或收购人事先未与目标公司经营者协商，突然提出收购股权的方式。
法律依据：《中华人民共和国证券法》
第八十六条 依法披露的信息，应当在证券交易场所的网站和符合国务院证券监督管理机构规定条件的媒体发布，同时将其置备于公司住所、证券交易场所，供社会公众查阅。
