释义	法律分析：一般情况下拘留会通知家人。法律依据：《公安机关办理行政案件程序规定》第一百五十条公安机关作出行政拘留处罚的，应当及时将处罚情况和执行场所通知被处罚人家属。被处罚人拒不提供家属联系方式或者有其他无法通知情形的，公安机关可以不予通知，但应当在决定书中注明。《中华人民共和国刑事诉讼法》第六十四条公安机关拘留人的时候，必须出示拘留证。拘留后，除有碍侦查或者无法通知的情形以外，应当把拘留的原因和羁押的处所，在二十四小时以内，通知被拘留人的家属或者他的所在单位。
