释义	法律分析：《中华人民共和国道路交通安全法》中并未规定可以坐副驾驶位置的年龄限制，但部分省市规定了机动车前排不得乘坐未满十二周岁的未成年人。一般来说，12周岁以下(或1.4米以下)的小孩不宜坐在前排。当紧急刹车时，家长根本无力也无法及时给副驾驶位的儿童提供保护。再加上汽车的安全带也是按成人标准来设计的。法律依据：《中华人民共和国道路交通安全法》第五十一条机动车行驶时，驾驶人、乘坐人员应当按规定使用安全带，摩托车驾驶人及乘坐人员应当按规定戴安全头盔。
