释义	法律分析：外观专利需要交年费。专利权人未按时缴纳授予专利权当年以后的年费，或者缴纳的数额不足的，专利局应当通知专利权人自年费期满之日起六个月内补缴，同时还要缴纳金额为年费的25%的滞纳金；期满未缴纳的，自应当缴纳年费期满日起，其专利权终止。年费的费用可以直接向专利局缴纳，也可以通过邮局汇付。凡向专利局缴纳的费用应当写明正确的申请号、费用名称简称及分项金额，未写明的视为未办理缴费手续。法律依据：《中华人民共和国专利法》第四十三条专利权人应当自被授予专利权的当年开始缴纳年费。
