释义	根据法律规定，一般情况下，周末是不可以领结婚证的。因为周末属于国家的法定节假日，婚姻登记处的工作人员都没有上班。男女双方可以选择在周一到周五办理结婚登记。目前有些地区的婚姻登记处在周末期间也办理结婚业务。但是为了不耽误办理进度，最好还是选择在工作日领取结婚证。法律依据：《中华人民共和国民法典》第一千零四十九条 【结婚登记】要求结婚的男女双方应当亲自到婚姻登记机关申请结婚登记。符合本法规定的，予以登记，发给结婚证。完成结婚登记，即确立婚姻关系。未办理结婚登记的，应当补办登记。
