租房继续租还要签合同吗

法律分析：如果还想要继续续租，仍然需要再签一份合同。因为之前签订的合同只能够保证前期的租房时间，上面会显示以前的阶段，但是后期续租，再要重新签一份新的合同。当然合同的内容可以原来的相似，需要将时间进行修改，这样的合同才具有了法律的效益。
法律依据：《中华人民共和国民法典》 第七百三十四条 租赁期限届满,承租人继续使用租赁物,出租人没有提出异议的,原租赁合同继续有效,但是租赁期限为不定期。
租赁期限届满,房屋承租人享有以同等条件优先承租的权利。
