释义	学校发的社保卡目前只有医保功能，只能看病时减免药费，其他费用（治疗费，注射费）都要自费的。学生毕业后，原学生医保卡功能自动注销，要另外购买城镇职工医保或居民医保，才能享受医保待遇，如果工作单位和学校是在同一城市，可带本人身份证和社保卡到当地社保中心领取密码后才能上网激活使用，如果不在同一城市就要重新办理了，因为目前社保还没全国联网，新的社保卡有银联标志的，可以当银行卡使用，如需使用，也要带本人身份证和社保卡到卡上标注的银行激活。
