释义	保证的期限应在保证合同中约定。如果没有约定保证期限的话，则按下列规定处理：1.属于一般保证的，保证期限为主债务履行期限届满之日起6个月。2.属于连带保证的，债权人有权在主债务履行期限届满之日起6个月内要求保证人承担保证责任。3.保证人在最高额保证合同中未约定保证期间的，保证人可以随时书面通知债权人终止保证合同，但保证人对于通知到债权人前所发生的债权，承担保证责任。
