员工未处理离职手续就离开的后果？

不办离职手续，不能让单位完成相应的工作交接、有序进行工作任务的相应调整，可能会给单位造成相应的损失。建议劳动者提供书面申请说明具体情况，正常离职；如果因个人紧急原因建议与所在单位协商一致，解除劳动合同。
【法律依据】：
《中华人民共和国劳动合同法》第九十条 劳动者违反本法规定解除劳动合同，或者违反劳动合同中约定的保密义务或者竞业限制，给用人单位造成损失的，应当承担赔偿责任。
