欠条、借条、收条是生活工作中常见的条据，其法律含义相差甚远。
欠条：是债务人向债权人出具的表示尚欠某物或者某款项的凭证，一般用来证明债权债务关系；
借条：是出借人向借用人或者借款人出具的表示出借某物或者某款项的凭证，一般用来证明借用或者借款关系；
收条：是收领人向送给人出具的表示收到某物或者某款项的凭证，用来反映或者证明“收到”的事实。欠条一般是结算或者证明财产所有与占有的相反状态，也就是所有权人的东西被占有人占有、使用，这种状态在打欠条时早已存在，打欠条的目的就是确认这种状态的存在。

第六百六十七条 借款合同是借款人向贷款人借款，到期返还借款并支付利息的合同。
第六百八十条 禁止高利放贷，借款的利率不得违反国家有关规定。借款合同对支付利息没有约定的，视为没有利息。借款合同对支付利息约定不明确，当事人不能达成补充协议的，按照当地或者当事人的交易方式、交易习惯、市场利率等因素确定利息；自然人之间借款的，视为没有利息。
