申请北京暂住证：
（一）本人合法有效身份证件和三张近期一寸黑白免冠照片。
（二）暂住在本市居（农）户内的，应提交户主的户口簿。暂住在出租房内的，还应提交房屋合法出租手续。暂住在单位内部的，由单位出具留住证明。
（三）居（村）外管站或居（村）委会出具的暂住情况证明材料。

居住证由县级人民政府公安机关签发，每年签注1次。居住证持有人在居住地连续居住的，应当在居住每满1年之日前1个月内，到居住地公安派出所或者受公安机关委托的社区服务机构办理签注手续。逾期未办理签注手续的，居住证使用功能中止；补办签注手续的，居住证的使用功能恢复，居住证持有人在居住地的居住年限自补办签注手续之日起连续计算。
一、暂住证需要什么证件
暂住证需要的证件有：身份证或护照、本人近期相片、暂住在本市居（农）户内的应提交户主的户口簿或身份证原件（复印件），暂住在出租房内的应提交房屋合法出租手续或协议。在开展居住证试点工作前发放的暂住证，持证人可凭有效的暂住证免费换领居住证。
二、暂住证的有效期是多长时间
暂住证的有效期为一年。根据相关条例，暂住证的有效期为一年，暂住证持有人需要在居住地持续居住的，应在暂住证满一年之日的前一个月内，到居住地受公安机关委托的社区服务机构或公安派出所办理签注手续，过期没有办理签注手续的，暂住证的实用功能中止，办理签注手续后，使用功能恢复，居住年限自补办签注手续之日起连续计算。
