释义	法律分析：承诺本应在承诺期限内作出，超过有效的承诺期限，要约已经失效，对于失效的要约发出承诺，不能发生承诺的效力，应视为新要约。承诺如果没能在有效内送达，便使承诺成为迟延承诺或逾期承诺。法律依据：《中华人民共和国民法典》第四百八十七条【未迟发而迟到的承诺】受要约人在承诺期限内发出承诺，按照通常情形能够及时到达要约人，但是因其他原因致使承诺到达要约人时超过承诺期限的，除要约人及时通知受要约人因承诺超过期限不接受该承诺外，该承诺有效。
