释义	法律分析：在押人员是指看守所羁押的人员。依据《中华人民共和国刑事诉讼法》及其他有关法律的规定，依法被逮捕、刑事拘留的人犯，或被判处有期徒刑或者拘役三个月以下，或者余刑在三个月以下，不便送往监狱的罪犯，可以由看守所监管。看守所羁押的人员称为羁押人员。法律依据：《中华人民共和国刑法》第四百条第一款司法工作人员私放在押的犯罪嫌疑人、被告人或者罪犯的，处五年以下有期徒刑或者拘役；情节严重的，处五年以上十年以下有期徒刑；情节特别严重的，处十年以上有期徒刑。
