释义	个人提供借款时不得预先将利息从本金中扣除。因为先扣除利息损害了借款人的合法利益，使借款人实际上得到的借款少于合同约定的借款数额，影响其资金的正常使用，加重了借款人的负担；也容易引起借款合同双方当事人的纠纷。如果出借人违反法律规定，仍在提供借款时将利息从本金中扣除的，那么，借款人只需按照实际借款数额返还借款并计算利息。【本文关联的相关法律依据】《中华人民共和国民法典》第六百七十条借款的利息不得预先在本金中扣除。利息预先在本金中扣除的，应当按照实际借款数额返还借款并计算利息。
