驾驶证超证的意思是这个车辆有了违章违法行为之后，不能有超过三个驾驶人的驾驶证去处理违章，如果超过三个驾驶证处理违章行为的话，那么这种情况就成为超证。那么超证其实就是为了防止驾驶证积分买卖的行为，当然，如果一年内一个驾驶人员对不属于自己的三辆车以上的不同号码牌照处理违章行为的话也属于超证。
【法律依据】：
《机动车驾驶证申领和使用规定》 第六十六条 对机动车驾驶人的道路交通安全违法行为，处罚与记分同时执行。机动车驾驶人一次有两个以上违法行为记分的，应当分别计算，累加分值。
