释义	法律分析: 建议在提前换证之后以及在本个记分周期结束之前完成罚款的缴纳，否则记分将延续至下一个周期。如果之前驾驶证扣分记录未满12分，可以换下一个更长期限的。如果六年有满12分的记录，就只能再换六年的。法律依据: 《机动车驾驶证申领和使用规定》第五十六条机动车驾驶人在机动车驾驶证的六年有效期内，每个记分周期均未记满12分的，换发十年有效期的机动车驾驶证机动车驾驶证的十年有效期内，每个记分周期均未记满12分的，换发长期有效的机动车驾驶证。
