释义	法律分析：传播性病罪，指行为人明知自己患有梅毒、淋病等严重性病而进行卖淫、嫖娼的行为。本罪在主观方面表现为故意，过失不构成本罪。即行为人明知自己患有严重性病，而出于某种动机或为达到某种目的，仍然向他人卖淫或嫖娼。行为人的“明知”可以是确切知道自己患有某种严重性病，也可以是其知道可能患有某种严重性病。法律依据：《中华人民共和国刑法》第三百六十条明知自己患有梅毒、淋病等严重性病卖淫、嫖娼的，处五年以下有期徒刑、拘役或者管制，并处罚金。
