网上不能做公证，需要亲自去公证处办理。部分公证是可以在异地办理的，办理涉及不动产的委托、声明、赠与、遗嘱的公证，可以选择住所地、经常居住地、行为地或者事实发生地公证处。动产可以选择住所地、经常居住地、行为地或者事实发生地公证处，但是不动产只能到不动产所在地办理。
【法律依据】：
《中华人民共和国公证法》 第二十五条 自然人、法人或者其他组织申请办理公证，可以向住所地、经常居住地、行为地或者事实发生地的公证机构提出。
