释义	免予处分，是指处分决定机关对虽有违纪行为，但情节轻微，且经过批评教育后改正的违纪行为人免予处分的一种处理措施。不予处分是指行为人的行为不构成应受处分的行为。法律依据：《中华人民共和国公务员法》第六十一条公务员因违纪违法应当承担纪律责任的，依照本法给予处分或者由监察机关依法给予政务处分;违纪违法行为情节轻微，经批评教育后改正的，可以免予处分。对同一违纪违法行为，监察机关已经作出政务处分决定的，公务员所在机关不再给予处分。
