退役军人去世了会发光荣牌吗

法律分析：不幸故世战友，生前并未领取“光荣之家”光荣牌，户籍地县市区级、街道乡镇政府就不会再与发给、悬挂了。
法律依据：《为烈属、军属和退役军人等家庭悬挂光荣牌工作实施办法》
第二条 本办法的适用对象是烈士遗属、因公牺牲军人遗属、病故军人遗属（以下统称“三属”）家庭和中国人民解放军现役军人（以下简称现役军人）家庭、退役军人家庭。
第五条 悬挂光荣牌家庭的‘三属’或退役军人去世后，该家庭可继续悬挂光荣牌，但不再更换。
